This week we have started searching about how life for Maori was like back in the past and comparing it to today for example how Maori lived in wharepuni- rectangular sleeping houses there were stores of certain foods and they were hunting experts but nowadays. Maori don’t need to hunt they can buy from super markets and there are more luxury houses for everyone to live in. Along that our group has been researching a famous person named Billy James. We were reading two pages dedicated to him he was a shy boy who was passionate about comedy and sometimes even playing the guitar to the Maori hostel. He unfortunately passed 7 august 1991 at the age of 43 passing of heart failure. He was adopted by Sally and Jimmy Smith he had 12 siblings as well as having a daughter who is Cherie James.I learnt a lot of information just from two pages after researching some things about him I managed to find what school he goes to (Whangarei Boys High school) even finding out where he was raised and what his interest were.
Do you prefer to hunt or to buy ?
